What is Toughened Glass?
Toughened Glass is a Grade A safety glass that has been heat-treated to significantly increase its strength and resistance to impact and thermal stress. Processed to meet the requirements of AS/NZS 2208, it is commonly specified where safety glazing is required.
When broken, Toughened Glass shatters into small, blunt-edged fragments, reducing the risk of serious injury compared to standard annealed glass.
