Satinlite Toughened Glass

Satinlite Toughened Glass is a translucent patterned safety glass that has been heat-treated for increased strength, softening light while providing privacy.

Satinlite Toughened Glass

Satinlite Toughened Glass is produced by heating annealed glass uniformly to temperatures exceeding 600°C before rapidly cooling it. This process significantly increases the strength of the glass and its resistance to impact and thermal stress.

With its soft, translucent pattern, Satinlite is commonly specified for privacy windows, doors and shower screens where diffused light and obscured vision are required.

It can be heat soaked where reducing the risk of spontaneous breakage is a project requirement, and can be incorporated into custom laminated glass make-ups.
