Ultra Clear Toughened Glass is produced by heating annealed glass uniformly to temperatures exceeding 600°C before rapidly cooling it. This process significantly increases the strength of the glass and its resistance to impact and thermal stress.
Manufactured to AS/NZS 2208, Ultra Clear Toughened Glass is a popular choice for balustrades, pool fencing, shower screens and splashbacks.
It can be heat soaked where reducing the risk of spontaneous breakage is a project requirement, and can be incorporated into custom laminated glass make-ups.
