Toughened glass is a Grade A safety glass that is up to five times stronger than standard annealed glass. When broken, it fractures into small particles to reduce the risk of injury. Available options include: Clear Toughened Glass, Ultra Clear Toughened Glass, Grey Toughened Glass, Obscure Privacy Glass.
ToughView™ combines two toughened glass panels with a structural interlayer, such as SentryGlas®, to create a high-performance laminated glass product suitable for demanding balustrade applications. Depending on the balustrade design, ToughView™ may provide additional post-breakage integrity, helping keep the glass panel intact if breakage occurs. Final glass selection should always be confirmed by the project's engineer or a qualified glazing professional.
