Glass Options for Commercial Windows & Doors

Toughened glass is one of the most commonly specified products for commercial windows and doors. It offers increased strength compared to standard annealed glass and, when broken, fractures into small pieces to reduce the risk of injury. It is processed to AS/NZS 2208 and is suitable for many safety glazing applications.

Laminated glass consists of two or more panes bonded together with a durable interlayer. It improves safety by helping keep broken glass in place and can also provide additional security, UV protection and noise reduction depending on the glass makeup.

Performance glass is designed to improve the comfort and energy efficiency of commercial buildings by reducing solar heat gain and improving thermal performance. Various options are available depending on your project's requirements.

Available in both toughened and laminated configurations, tinted glass helps reduce glare and solar heat while adding a contemporary architectural finish.

Acoustic laminated glass is designed to reduce the transmission of external noise, making it suitable for offices, education facilities, hotels, healthcare buildings and developments located near busy roads or transport corridors.

Our custom laminated glass range provides extensive flexibility for projects with unique performance or design requirements. Multiple interlayers can be combined to achieve specific colours, safety performance, acoustic properties or decorative finishes. Where required, custom laminated glass can also be processed using heat-strengthened glass rather than toughened glass. Heat-strengthened laminated glass is commonly specified for certain commercial applications where increased strength, thermal stress resistance or specific performance characteristics are required. Final glass make-up should always be confirmed by the project's engineer, architect or qualified glazing professional.

Why Choose
Tough Glass

Heat Soaking In-House

Heat soaking subjects toughened glass to a controlled heat cycle at around 290°C to detect nickel sulphide inclusions — the rare cause of spontaneous breakage — so an at-risk panel breaks in our factory, not after installation.
