For bathroom and other high-moisture applications, Tough Glass recommends applying a quality mirror edge sealer to help protect the mirror edges from moisture ingress.
Bathrooms should be well ventilated to minimise prolonged exposure to moisture and condensation.
Prolonged exposure to standing moisture can cause edge deterioration (commonly referred to as edge creep or black edge), which may affect the appearance of the mirror over time.
Avoid allowing water, cleaning solutions or other liquids to pool around the edges of the mirror.
Mirror installations should comply with the recommended installation and glazing practices to maximise long-term performance.
